In June 2008, HARBOR, Inc. received a grant from the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation to upgrade the On-line Mapping to include PDR and Build Out information.  Watch for these upgrades in 2009!  A description of the project is provided below:

Expand the HARBOR, Inc. on-line interactive mapping to include:

·        Interactive mapping tool for scoring natural and agricultural resources such as slopes, wetlands, endangered species, prime farmland, etc. on individual parcels for public Purchase of Development Rights.

·        Interactive program for calculating build out changes for individual parcels considering rezoning actions (developer or community initiated rezoning) and permanent land protection actions (public Purchase of Development Rights or Little Traverse Conservancy land protection).
