Regular Meeting January 26,2006

Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:04PM.

Public Comment on Agenda: None

Correspondence/Appointments: Emmet County Road Commission will meet with us on February 6, 2006 at Center Township at 7pm M. Barkley moved to send PAC $20.00, seconded, PASSED.

Consent Agenda:
Minutes: L. Bosma moved to approve the Minutes, seconded, PASSED.
Bills: M. Barkley moved to pay bills, seconded, PASSED.

Items Removed from Consent Agenda: None

Committee Reports: Planning Commission – Richard Rule reported that the Planning Commission amended the Bylaws to get the up to date. Dean Shorter is the Secretary. Private roads were discussed, would like to get minutes on Computer eventually. Rich looking in to Broad Band.

Zoning Administrator Deputy – Bill Wiechmann reported that 2 building permits were given out.

Treasurer Report: Received

Unfinished Business: On Hold

New Business: L. Bosma moved that the township give up our allocation for 2006 only, seconded, PASSED. Paving program for 2006 update will be ready at the February 6th meeting. Tennis Center discussed at length.
B. Wiechmann and M. Barkley interviewed several people for the secretarial job. They recommended Bridget Melching. L. Bosma moved to hire Bridget Melching at $10.00 per hour, seconded, PASSED
