Board Meeting
Minutes
11-6-07
Present: Howard Wood, Maria Krupa, Gene Reck, Catherine Schlappi, Steve Keller
Call to order: Supervisor Wood called the regular meeting of the Cross Village board to order at 7:00 p.m., November 6, 2007.
Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all present.
Motion: made by Clerk Reck supported by Treasurer Krupa to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion: to approve the September 11, 2007 minutes as amended made by Clerk Reck and supported by Trustee Schlappi. Motion carried.
Motion: to approve September Treasurer’s report made by Clerk Reck and supported by Trustee Keller. Motion carried.
Motion: to approve October Treasurer’s report made by Clerk Reck and supported by Trustee Schlappi. Motion carried.
Total bills paid October 2007-$12,480.70.
Announcements/Correspondence: A letter has been sent to the person who dumped trash at the beach.
Public comments: none
Committee Reports: none
Old Business:
a. Bill Johnson property: Johnson reviewed the status of the proposed land purchase. Clerk Reck moved and Trustee Schlappi seconded the motion to sell the 53 foot parcel as described in the deed to Bill Johnson for $6,000. The payment must be made within 90 days. On a roll call vote all voted Yes.
b. Fire Ordinance: It will be discussed next month. The need for additional ordinances was briefly discussed.
New Business:
a. Library: The need for library services was discussed. The development of district libraries is a possibility.
b. Resolution # 2007-012 to support the implementation of the HARBOR Area Recreation, Trails and Open Space Plan was offered by Clerk Reck and supported by Trustee Schlappi . Upon a roll call vote all voted Yes:

Motion to Adjourn: Treasurer Krupa moved and Trustee Schlappi supported a motion to adjourn at 7:50 pm. Motion carried.
