PLEASANTVIEW TOWNSHIP MINUTES Regular Meeting April 27, 2006
Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:00PM

Items Added to Agenda: Emmet County Road Commission, John Hancock, Township Enhancement, and Copy Machine

Correspondence/Appointments: Emmet County Road Commission-Dust Control – B. Wurst moved to have Emmet County Road Commission do the dust Control same as last year, seconded, Passed. Road Commission will give us $5,000.00 per intersection on E. Stutsmanville, Tower, Scheirschmidt and Pleasantview Road, a total of $15,000.00. B. Wurst moved to have intersections put out for bids, seconded. Passed. County to do this and Township only pays for advertising. D. Bosma gave Board members 5-year investment papers.
Consent Agenda: Minutes: M. Barkley moved to approve the minutes, seconded, Passed. M. Barkley moved to approve the Election Commission Minutes, seconded, Passed. Bills: M. Barkley moved to pay bills, seconded, Passed.
Items Removed from Consent Agenda: None
Committee Reports: None Planning Commission: - Richard Rule told Board that commission set dates for next fiscal year. They are looking at Broad Band to see if they can bring it to the Township. L. Bosma moved to send Richard and Bill to the June 8th meeting on Broad Band, seconded, Passed. Discussion was held on Motor Home Park. Board looking at updating ordinance on Dome Structures.
Zoning Administrator Deputy: Bill reported that there are three new homes, turned in $75.00 Treasurer Report: Received
Meetings: D. Bosma reported that there is only one absentee request for all of Emmet County for school election at this time.
Unfinished Business: On Hold
New Business: D. Bosma moved to amend the 2005-2006 Budget as follows-Take $4,000.00 from property taxes and $1,757.00 from interest and move it to the other account under revenues and under expenditures to take $7638.00 from General Government Account and put $519.00 into legislative, $285.00 in recreation, $2,527.00 in to principal payments and $4,307.00 into interest, seconded, Passed.
Copy Machine-L. Bosma moved to pay used copy machine for $1,395.00, seconded, Passed.
B. Wiechmann presented Board with tentative budget for fiscal year 2006 –2007. L. Bosma moved to approve tentative budget and present it to the Public in May, seconded, Passed.
B. Wurst reported that we would take tires for a fee at Spring Cleanup. Bob presented the Board with two old pictures of the old school house and students for the Hall, donated by the Lutz’s.
