PLEASANTVIEW TOWNSHIP MINUTES
Regular Meeting May 25, 2006

Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:02PM

Roll Call: B. Wiechmann, D. Bosma, M. Barkley, L. Bosma, B. Wurst,

Absent: None

Guest: J. Sommerville

Items Added to Agenda: Emmet County Road Commission

Correspondence/Appointments: None

Consent Agenda:
Minutes: L. Bosma moved to pass the minutes with corrections, changing due to do twice under correspondence/Appointments seconded, Passed
Bills: Two additional bills to M. Barkley for Quick Books class for $150.00 plus mileage and D. Bosma for
$150.00 plus 17.95 for lunches, B. Wurst moved to pay bills, seconded, Passed.

Items Removed from Consent Agenda: None

Committee Reports: None
Planning Commission: None
Zoning Administrator: J. Sommerville turned in $335.00

Treasurer Report: Treasurer’s report received and M. Barkley told Board that payment on principal was made.

Unfinished Business: On Hold

New Business: M. Barkley moved to enter in to a Grant Agreement with the Michigan Department of State for accessible voting systems for use by individuals with disabilities, seconded, Roll call vote, B. Wiechmann Yes, B. Wurst Yes, L. Bosma Yes, D. Bosma Yes, M. Barkley Yes, Passed.

Board presented 2006-2007 budget to the Public

Spring clean up on June 17th, 9-3, M. Barkley will be absent, L. Bosma, D. Bosma, B. Wiechmann, and B. Wurst will be working at it. Stutsmanville Salvage Confirmed.

B. Wiechmann presented the board with Emmet County Road Commission Contracts and bids for road improvements, Crack Sealing, and Asphalt Wedge. B. Wiechmann and B. Wurst will discuss this further with County on Tuesday. Les moved to accept first two bids contingent on what B. Wiechmann and B. Wurst find out from the County on Tuesday. Seconded, Passed

Adjournment: M. Barkley moved at 7:50pm, seconded, PASSED.
