PLEASANTVIEW TOWNSHIP MINUTES
Regular Meeting August 23, 2006

Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:05 p.m.

Roll Call: B. Wiechmann, D. Bosma, B. Wurst

Absent: M. Barkley and L. Bosma

Guest: Bridget Melching

Items Added to Agenda: Spring Clean Up and Roads

Public Comment on Agenda: None

Correspondence/Appointments: None

Consent Agenda:
Minutes: B. Wurst moved to approve the minutes, seconded, Passed
Bills: D. Bosma presented Board with bill from Burnham and Flower for $150.00. B. Wurst moved to pay the bills as they come in, seconded, Passed

Items Removed from Consent Agenda: None

Committee Reports: None
Planning Commission: None
Assessor: None
Election: D. Bosma reported to the board that the election went well with 46 voters and the new voting machine worked well.

Zoning Administrator: Turned in $125.00 dollars. B. Wiechmann reported for Jack to the Board that Jack issued four permits this month. There is one new home, one new accessory building, adding porch dormers and a garage repositioning. He also issued three violation notices and one citation.

Treasurer Report: Received

Unfinished Business: Zoning Permit Fees and exterior of building

New Business: B. Wurst reported to the board that the 2nd weekend in May is available next year for the Spring Clean-up, he will check to see what other dates are available and have Little Traverse Disposal send a contract.

The only thing done with Brutus Rd this year so far is tree cutting. B. Wiechmann is going to check with the Emmet County Road Commission about when the curbs will be going in and what else is going to be done with Brutus Rd and when it will be done. He will also ask the Emmet County Road Commission how much longer it will take to get the curbs done on Scheirschmidt, Tower and Stutsmanville roads.
