Present: Howard Wood, Maria Krupa, Gene Reck, Catherine Schlappi, Steve Keller

Call to order: The regular meeting of the Cross Village board was called to order by Supervisor Wood at 7:00 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all present.

Motion: made by Treasurer Krupa supported by Clerk Reck to approve the agenda as amended. Motion carried.

Motion: to approve March minutes made by Treasurer Krupa and supported by Clerk Reck.  Motion carried.

Motion: to approve March Budget Meeting minutes made by Clerk Reck and supported by Treasurer Krupa.  Motion carried.

Motion: to approve Treasurer’s report made by Clerk Reck and supported by Supervisor Wood .  Motion carried.

Total bills paid March 2007-$ 14,882.68

Announcements/Correspondence: None

Supervisor’s Comments: Supervisor Wood read a statement as to the rules by which the meeting was to be conducted.  Primarily, no speaking until recognized, one person speaking at a time and comments are to be confined to a three minute period.
 
Public comments: Comments were made announcing an April 18 Pot Luck and the Cleanup on May 19, Question about when the boat ramp was going in, and when a discussion about the parking situation might occur.
Committee Reports: no reports

Old Business:
Fire Ordinance was discussed and will be presented when in final form.
Computer Policy Motion: Clerk Reck moved the policy be adopted and Treasurer Krupa supported. Motion carried.
Budget Amendment Motion: Clerk Reck moved and Treasurer Krupa supported.  Motion carried on a roll call vote.
New Business
Tim Grimm Contracts Motion: Clerk Reck moved the Salery contract and Treasurer Krupa supported.  Motion carried. Motion: Clerk Reck moved the land division contract and Trustee Schlappi supported.  Motion carried.
Roads- Division Rd & Chippewa Motion: Treasurer Krupa moved and Clerk Reck supported an amended road budget of 10,190 to do Division Rd. and Chippewa dr. Motion carried.
Dust coating of Chippewa Motion: Clerk Reck moved and Treasurer Krupa supported the motion that we use a coating similar to last year with a 26% brine solution. Motion carried.
Sheriff’s Contract Motion: Treasurer Krupa moved and Trustee Schlappi supported a renewal of the Sheriff’s contract. Motion carried.
Board of Review Resolutions Resolution 2007-009: A resolution to adopt the policy for poverty exemptions as attached was offered by Clerk Reck and supported by Supervisor Wood.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously.  Resolution 2007-010: A resolution to adopt the policy for appeal of property tax exemptions as attached was offered by Trustee Keller Supervisor Wood and supported by Supervisor Wood .  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
 
 Adjourn Meeting Motion: Supervisor Wood moved and Treasurer Krupa           supported a motion to adjourn at 8:00pm. Motion carried.
