Budget Meeting

Present: Howard Wood, Maria Krupa, Gene Reck, Catherine Schlappi, Steve Keller

Call to order: The budget meeting of the Cross Village board was called to order by Supervisor Wood at 7:11 p.m.
 
a.    Motion: made by Trustee Keller supported by Treasurer Krupa to approve the Amended Budget for 2006-2007 as offered by the Clerk. Motion carried.
b.    Resolution 2007-001: A resolution to adopt the 2007-2008 General Fund Operating Budget as attached was offered by Trustee Schlappi and supported by Supervisor Wood.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously.
c.    Resolution 2007-002: A resolution to set the per diem for Trustees at $65 per meeting as attached was offered by Supervisor Wood and supported by Trustee Schlappi.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
d.    Resolution 2007-003: A resolution to set the annual salary for Supervisor at $6000 as attached was offered by Trustee Schlappi and supported by Clerk Reck.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
e.    Resolution 2007-004: A resolution to set the annual salary for Treasurer at $6000 as attached was offered by Clerk Reck and supported by Trustee Keller.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
f.    Resolution 2007-005: A resolution to set the annual salary for Clerk at $6000 as attached was offered by Supervisor Wood and supported by Trustee Schlappi.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
g.    Resolution 2007-006: A resolution to set the annual salary for Deputy Clerk at $100 as attached was offered by Supervisor Wood and supported by Clerk Reck.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
h.    Resolution 2007-007: A resolution to set the annual salary for Deputy Treasurer at $100 as attached was offered by Trustee Schlappi and supported by Treasurer Krupa.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously
i.    Resolution 2007-008: A resolution to adopt the 2007-2008 Road Fund Operating Budget as attached was offered by Trustee Keller and supported by Treasurer Krupa.  A roll call vote was taken and the resolution passed unanimously

Motion: made by Clerk Reck and supported by Trustee Schlappi to assess a 1 mil tax for the general operating fund and a 1mil tax for roads. Motion carried.
Motion: made by Treasurer Krupa supported by Trustee Schlappi to close the Budget Meeting. Motion carried.
