SYNOPSIS
WEST TRAVERSE TOWNSHIP
REGULAR BOARD MEETING, SEPTEMBER 12, 2006


Regular Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
5 members were present.

August 15, 2006 and August 29, 2006 minutes were approved as presented.

August 18, 2006 minutes were approved with one correction.

A new Township Hall sign was approved.

The house at 5530 Lake St. is being moved.

The furnaces in the rental houses and the township hall will be serviced for winter.

The township will purchase the BS&A payroll system.

The Office Committee was expanded to include an external CPA.

Clean up of the lean-to and sealing off the apartment in the old garage on the Township rental property will proceed.

A new janitor was hired to clean the township hall.

It was agreed to purchase a new computer for the township assessor.

Payables were approved as presented.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:55 p.m.

Next regularly scheduled meeting will be October 10, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
