Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor.
Roll call by clerk: Major, Ward, Troup, Scott and Van Divner present.
Agenda approved with addition of Road Construction Contract under 23(i).

Scott moved, Van Divner seconded, PASSED, to approve minutes of April 5 meeting with correction to indicate approval of March 22 meeting minutes, not February meeting.

Treasurer’s report received.

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED, to accept line item changes in Middle Village Park 2006/07 Budget, i.e. Legal reduced to zero (0) and Contingency increased to $1,500. (5-0)

Scott moved, Van Divner seconded, PASSED, that $6,000 of Reserve Fund of Middle Village Park Committee be returned to Readmond, Friendship and LTBB if approved by all three entities, leaving $1,000 in a Reserve Fund. (4-1)

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED, to amend Recreation fund Expenditures Budget to add $1,625 to Middle Village Park. Passed unanimously by roll call vote.

Van Divner moved, Scott seconded, PASSED, that Troup and Ward attend an informal meeting with Readmond Township representatives before June 7th, as outlined in letter from Harriet Jackson, which is attached. (4-1)

Scott moved, Van Divner seconded, PASSED, to use the 28% oil well brine @ $.10/gallon for dust control as needed for 2006 season. (5-0)

Scott moved, Major seconded, PASSED unanimously by roll call vote, that, in consideration of the fact that we will have additional funds coming into the Voted Road Fund through delinquent tax payment, we approve the Emmet County Road Commission Contract for road construction in the amount of $186,640 and authorize the supervisor to sign the contract. (5-0)

Public comment received.

Troup reviewed bills and checks for accuracy.

Van Divner moved, major seconded, PASSED unanimously by roll call vote, to pay bills. Checks # 5278-5303 were written in the amount of $16,240.09.
