WEST TRAVERSE TOWNSHIP
PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR BOARD MEETING
MARCH 28, 2006


A Public Hearing on the 2006-2007 budget was called to order at 7:00 P.M.

Road millage was set at 0.70 mills; Township millage at 0.70 mills; Thorne Swift millage at 0.15 mills.

The Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:31 P.M. and the regular meeting was called to order.

Minutes of the February 14, 2006 meeting were approved as submitted.

Election inspectors for the May election were named and the purchase of additional election supplies was approved.

Dates were set for next year’s regular Township Board meetings.

Budget amendments were approved as submitted and next year’s budget for the Township and Thorne Swift were approved as submitted. The road budget was approved with the amended budget amount.

A bid from Progressive Associates, Inc to design the handicap ramp for the Township Hall was approved.

Decisions regarding extending the Township water system were tabled to obtain further information.

The issue of snow removal and lawn care of the Township property was tabled until the May meeting.

Payables were approved as presented.

The meeting was adjourned.

Next regular meeting will be April 11, 2006.
