Meeting called to order by Van Divner.
Roll call by clerk:  Troup, Ward and Van Divner present.  Major and Scott absent.
Agenda approved with addition of North Central Michigan College presentation by Cameron Brunet-Koch after # 3.

Cameron Brunet-Koch, President of North Central Michigan College, gave a brief informational presentation on the college.

Minutes of June 6, 2007 meeting approved as presented.
Treasurer’s report received.

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED, to authorize Rob Parson and/or Dale Scott to obtain a detailed estimate of cost for a survey to indicate the location of town hall in relation to right of way and property lines, a topographical of the building vicinity, and a topographical of the southern portion of the township’s 40 acres where cemetery expansion is being considered. (3-0)

Van Divner moved, Troup seconded, PASSED, to ask Emmet County Road Commission what the process is to install a caution/red blinking light at the State / Stutsmanville Rd intersection and request that they begin the process for same. (3-0)

Troup reviewed bills and checks for accuracy.

PUBLIC COMMENT.

Ward moved, Troup seconded, PASSED by unanimous ballot, to pay the bills.  Checks # 1242-1261 were written in the amount of $38,128.91.
