Regular Meeting October 25, 2007
Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:00 p.m.

Minutes: L. Bosma motioned to accept the minutes, M. Barkley seconded

Committee Reports:
Planning Commission: R. Rule reported to the Board that R. Rule, C. Raisanen and J. Woods are up for re-election for the new term of 2008 - 2010 for the Planning Commission.
B. Wiechmann reported to the Board that J. Woods is resigning as Planning Commission Board member.
R. Rule contacted Mary Campbell of M.C. Planning and Design in regards to the master plan and he is waiting to hear back from her. R. Rule informed the Board that they will work on the master plan once a month tentatively starting in January and have plans to have the master plan done within a year.
R. Rule informed the Board that he is attending meetings with Harbor Inc. in regards to getting high speed Internet in the area and that he will report to the Board any information he gets.
Zoning Administrator: J. Somerville turned in $25.00 for a permit. A permit was issued for an accessory building on Welshiemer Road.
Treasurer Report: Received
Assessor: T. Grimm turned in bill for $1,492.00 for every principal building and accessory building in the Township.
T. Grimm informed Board that the Equalization Residential Study is not done yet and all assessments are being reviewed and adjusted if necessary.
Unfinished Business: On Hold
New Business: B. Wurst motioned to reappoint R. Rule and C. Raisanen to the Planning Commission for the term of 2008-2010, L. Bosma seconded, Passed.
M. Barkley informed Board the taxes for the Boyne Highlands tennis court has not been paid since 2006. M. Barkley will contact Marilyn, Emmet County Treasurer to get instructions on how to take it off tax collection.
L. Bosma motioned for B. Wiechmann to sign a memorandum of understanding between Emmet County Road Commission and Pleasantview Township regarding Winter Park Drive, M. Barkley seconded, motion passed with 3 to 1 with B. Wurst voting no.
B. Wiechmann will contact Emmet County Road Commission in regards to setting a speed limit on Nubs Nob.
