LEGAL Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review will meet at the Office of the Supervisor at 9:00 a.m., March 3, 2009 to review the 2009 tax assessment roll as prepared by the assessor.
The Board of Review meetings for public inspection of the 2009 tax assessment roll will be held at the Township Hall, Monday, March 9, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., and Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Property owners are encouraged to attend the Board of Review meetings to review their 2009 assessments. Owners may petition the Board by mail for review. Letters must be postmarked by March 20, 2009.

Ratios and multipliers are subject to adjustment by the Assessor, the Board of Review, Emmet County, and the State Tax Commission. The inflation rate multiplier for 2009 is 4.4%.
Little Traverse Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon seven days notice to the Township Supervisor.
