BOARD MEETING
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2006 @ 7:00 P.M.

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by supervisor.
Roll call by clerk: Major, Troup, Ward, Scott, Van Divner present.
Scott moved, Van Divner seconded, PASSED, to make the following agenda change: add snowplowing contract under new business. (5-0)

Minutes of October 4th meeting stood approved as presented.

Treasurer’s report received.

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED by unanimous roll call, to approve Middle Village Park 2007-08 Budget in the amount of $4,875.00 with corrected line 105 “Received $7,141.00”.

The Board received one written bid for tree removal in cemetery and at corner of Stutsmanville Rd. and Beacon Hill Lane. Supervisor will seek other bids for next month’s meeting.

Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to postpone comments on Emmet County Planning Case 10-06, dated October 18, 2006, until the Friendship Township Planning Commission has had opportunity to review and make recommendation to the Board. (5-0)

Snow plow contract – Board received comments for improving snow removal process this winter. Supervisor to pass comments on to contractor, Jonathan Tippett.

Troup reviewed bills and checks for accuracy.

Public Comment received.

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED by unanimous roll call, to pay bills. Checks # 1063 through 1078 were written in the amount of $7,952.37.

Next board meeting will be Wednesday, December 6th.
