New Business: A. Case #22A-95 Cottrill – we reviewed the process and discussed. V. Other Matters A. Discussed pros/cons of zoning at Twp. level and the next steps we needed to take in gathering information. Trufant and Gelb will look into specific costs (insurance, office space, equipment, adm. costs–copying, filing, records’ storage, attorney fees/consultant–perhaps only in the transition phase and for formulating zoning changes, zoning administrator, enforcement officer, zoning appeals board. Income from fees, escrow accts. We could charge our own zoning administrator with making sure all documents were complete and accounted for before we even look at the proposal.. Plans could be expected to be based on the environmental, topographical, health dept., etc. studies. Rather than making a plan and then trying to get it to fit the requirements later. Trufant and Siimon will speak with Dale Scott to determine the direction and purpose of a public forum in the near future on this issue. VI. Open Discussion for issues not on the Agenda A. Kurburski continues to advocate for having Readmond, Cross Village and Friendship Planning Commissions’ chairs meet and discuss common concerns. B. Resolution commending our fearless leader, Denise Simon and by extension Roselyn Letzmann for sticking up for their township in the face of relentless fire from the ECPC. (Trufant, Gelb) Passed unanimously. VII. Adjourn at 8:45 p.m . Next meeting: June 28
