PLEASANTVIEW TOWNSHIP MINUTES
Regular Meeting August 22, 2007
Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call: B. Wiechmann, D. Bosma, and M. Barkley
Absent: L. Bosma and B. Wurst
Guest: Bridget Melching and Jack Sommerville
Items Added to Agenda: Correction under "New Business" should be General Appropriations Act not Salary Resolution, Petoskey Library, John Deschermeirer Resignation, Master Plan and Cemetery

Correspondence/Appointments: B. Wiechmann reported to the Board that he received correspondence regarding the contract with Petoskey Library. B. Wiechmann motioned to leave contract as negotiated in the past, M. Barkley seconded, Passed. He will be attending a meeting regarding the Petoskey Library in September and will report back to the Board.
J. Deschermeirer turned in a letter of resignation as Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman effective 8/20/07. The Board will look for a replacement.

Zoning Administrator: J. Somerville turned in $50.00 for a permit. A permit was issued for two accessory buildings and one garage.

New Business: B. Wiechmann motioned to approve the General Appropriations Act by roll call vote, B. Wiechmann Yes, M. Barkley Yes, and D. Bosma Yes. Passed
Board discussed master plan and no decision was made until all Board members are present.
Board discussed cemetery and will start the ordinance book in the fall.
