BOARD MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:07 p.m. by Supervisor.
Roll call:  Major, Troup, Ward, Scott, Van Divner present.

Ward moved, Van Divner seconded, PASSED, to approve Agenda change to add “approve Poverty Guidelines for 2007 Assessments” under New business, 14 (a).  (5-0)

Minutes stood approved as presented.
Treasurer’s report received.

Ward moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to appoint John Carr and Sam Trufant to a 2 year term as Board of Review members.  (5-0)  Carr and Trufant sworn in by clerk Van Divner.

Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to approve Poverty guidelines for 2007 Assessments for use by the Board of Review. (5-0)  attached

Tunnel of Trees committee presented results of their 2006 survey regarding the M-119 corridor.

HARBOR Inc. gave presentation of work on the Recreation project of which Friendship Township is a participant.

Major to check into propane prices for township.

Major reviewed bills and checks for accuracy.

Public Comment.

Major moved, Ward seconded, PASSED by unanimous ballot, to approve payment of the bills.  Checks # 1118 through 1142 were written in the amount of $7,342.31.
