Regular Meeting November 24, 2008
Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:00 p.m.

Committee Reports:
Planning Commission: B. Wurst presented Board with sample of master plan and requested the Board to read over the sample master plan a couple times before December 15, 2008. B. Wiechmann said he appreciated the hard work the Planning Commission put in to developing a master plan. J. Sommerville also commented on how good the master plan looks.
Zoning Administrator: J. Sommerville reported to the Board there were no permits issued this month. J. Sommerville issued a fine to Gary Simon for rubbish in his yard. Because, Gary Simon did not contact J. Sommerville or clean his yard, he was ordered to appear in Court. Gary Simon did not appear in Court and has not contacted the Court. J. Sommerville will keep Board informed on further developments.
J. Sommerville informed Board that John Ranausch wants to turn an attic in to living quarters. J. Sommerville did not give him a permit. John Ranausch turned in application to appeal this decision to the Zoning Board of Appeals. There will be a Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on December 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. J. Sommerville has also fined John Ranausch for starting construction without getting a permit.
J. Sommerville informed Board that Boyne Highlands has turned in $150.00 for fireworks permits to be held in December.
Pleasantview Township resident Connie Zingler has claimed that the Snowmobile Club has put a driveway in on her property. J. Sommerville will keep Board informed if there are further developments.

New Business: B. Wiechmann motioned to accept Resolution 10-2008 for Pleasantview Township to participate in planning and establishing the Harbor Springs Area District Library by roll call vote. M. Board held a discussion on roads in Pleasantview Township. Board also held a discussion on tax assessments. B. Wiechmann will ask T. Grimm to attend Board Meeting in December for further discussion on tax assessments. A discussion was held on parking at the Pleasantview Township Hall.
A discussion was held on the general election. A letter was presented to Board from Pleasantview Township resident on how well the election was run.
