LEGAL LITTLE TRAVERSE TOWNSHIP Emmet County, Michigan Notice is hereby given that the Township Zoning Board will hold a Public Hearing, Monday, January 7, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. at the Township Hall, 8288 S. Pleasantview Road, Harbor Springs, Michigan 49740, to consider the following: Case #B-09-2007 A request by the Township Zoning Board to amend the Little Traverse Township Zoning Ordinance by adding a new ARTICLKE XVIII – SEXUALLY ORIENTED BUSINESSES, including - Intent Section 1801. - Definitions, Section 1802. - Location of Sexually Oriented Businesses, Section 1803. - Unlawful Activities; Scienter Required; Penalty; Equitable Remedies. and Section 1804. - Severability. The proposed amendment establishes regulations for sexually oriented businesses in order to promote the health, safety and general welfare of Township citizens and to prevent the deleterious secondary effects of sexually oriented businesses within the Township.
