BOARD MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Scott.  Pledge of allegiance recited.
Roll call by clerk:  Scott, Troup, Ward and Van Divner present.  Major absent.

Agenda approved with addition of 14.d  dump bill discussion.
Minutes of May 7th board meeting approved as presented.
Treasurer’s report received.

Pete Cummings and Michael Cullip reported on Wind Energy Programs they attended on township’s behalf.

Scott moved, Van Divner seconded, PASSED, to ask Friendship Township Planning Commission to prepare a proposal for a subcommittee of the Planning Commission to look into the zoning aspects and physical placement possibilities for wind powered generation in Friendship Township. (4-0)

Board discussed proposed Fire Ordinance wording.

Van Divner moved, Scott seconded, PASSED, to provide one voucher per household by mailing, said voucher to expire March 31, 2009. (4-0)

Van Divner moved, Scott seconded, PASSED by unanimous roll call vote, to pass Resolution 2008-01  approving a Charitable Gaming License for Randy Saddison Memorial Scholarship Fund event to be held June 28, 2008.

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED, to transfer $200 from Contingency line to MTA Association line in General Fund Expenditures 08/09 Budget.  (4-0)

Troup reviewed checks and bills for accuracy.

Scott moved, Ward seconded, PASSED by unanimous roll call vote, to approve payment of the bills.  Checks # 1481 – 1504 were written in the amount of $27,238.16.
