Friendship Township Planning Commission

Applicant Requirements

The Friendship Township Planning Commission meets the 4th Monday of each month. In order to be placed on the agenda of this meeting, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
• The Friendship Township Planning Commission Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson must receive all information pertaining to applicant’s case by 5:00 PM seven (7) days prior to the meeting date.
• Thirteen copies (nine for the planning commission and four for the township board) are needed of all letter or legal-sized documents. For large-format drawings, only one copy is needed.

The type of information the applicant needs to submit is the same as that required by Emmet County Planning and Zoning. The phone number for this department is 348-1731.
