Present: Howard Wood, Maria Krupa, Gene Reck

Call to order: The regular meeting of the Cross Village board was called to order by Supervisor Wood at 7:00 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all present.

Motion: made by Clerk Reck supported by Treasurer Krupa to approve agenda. Motion carried.

Motion: to approve Treasurer’s report made by Clerk Reck and supported byTreasurer Krupa.  Motion carried.

Motion: to approve November minutes made by Supervisor Wood and supported by Treasurer Krupa.  Motion carried.

Motion: to approve December minutes made by Supervisor Wood and supported by Treasurer Krupa.  Motion carried.

Total bills paid January 2007-$6,732.77

Announcements:
Supervisor Wood reported that the cell tower is up and running.  Currently only Cellular- One is operating.
A communication concerning a change of name of Wycanp Lake to Spirt Lake has been received.  Further information will be gathered.  No action was taken.

Public comments:  Public comments and questions about the proposal occurred.  It was suggested that perhaps a historical marker could be used instead.

Committee Reports: no reports

Old Business: Shell Gas: no further information has been obtained.
                          Computer policy:  Amended policy to be presented in March.

New Business:
a. The fire ordinance is currently being reviewed by the command group of the Fire/Rescue Squad.  A report will be made next month.
b. M-119 Tunnel of Trees Scenic Heritage Route Committee reported on a community preference survey carried out in 2006. Discussion occurred on possible next steps.
c. A Budget Workshop is scheduled for February 22, 2007 at 10:00am in CVCC.

Motion to adjourn meeting made by Treasurer Krupa and supported by Clerk Reck.  Motion carried.
