Public Hearing on Changing portions of RR2 back to FF2
Presented information on the similarities and differences between RR2 and FF2 and our reasoning in proposing a possible return to FF2.
Pulbic asked a few clarifying questions and then gave input.
Want open space to be mandatory in developments.
Could we have something between RR2 and FF2? Concern for some uses in FF2.
Developers need incentives to do onpen space design (such as different road standards or extra lots).
FF2 would at least reduce the density possibilities at this time. If we could also have an overlay district hich would mandate open space that woruld work well. max Putters felt this was something the county would support, esp. if it overlaid all of our FF2 in the twp.
Need to educate the public, developers, realtors and owners more about the advantages of open space design.
