Regular Meeting December 20, 2007
Meeting called to order by B. Wiechmann at 7:05 p.m.

Guest: Bridget Melching and Jack Sommerville
Items Added to Agenda: Winter Park Drive, Fire Hall & letter from M. Barkley regarding meeting night change.

Correspondence/Appointments: The Emmet County Road Commission will be holding a meeting for Pleasantview Township on January 21, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss construction projects and road issues.

Assessor
Zoning Administrator: J. Somerville turned in $75.00 for a permit. A permit was issued for a house and garage addition. J. Sommerville reported to the Board that he will be leaving for Florida January 3, 2008 and will be back April 30, 2008. B. Wiechmann will take over for him as Zoning Administrator while he is gone.
B. Wiechmann reported to the Board that the Fire Hall is completed and operational with a ladder truck and a pumper truck.
Unfinished Business: The Board will talk to the Emmet County Road Commission at the meeting of January 21, 2008 regarding what roads will be repaired and the cost.
L. Bosma motioned to pay 20% of the cost to construct Winter Park Drive with roll call vote. L. Bosma Yes, B. Wiechmann obstain, M. Barkley Yes, B. Wurst Yes, and D. Bosma absent, M. Barkley seconded,
Passed.
New Business: M. Barkley asked Board to switch Board meeting nights from the fourth Thursday of the month to the Fourth Tuesday of the month during the months of January, February, March April and May. Meeting dates with be Tuesday, January 22, 2008, Tuesday, February 26, 2008, Tuesday, March 25, 2008, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 and Tuesday, May 20, 2008. L. Bosma motioned to change meeting nights from the fourth Thursday of the month to the fourth Tuesday of the month, B. Wurst seconded, Passed
