BOARD MEETING
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2006 @ 7:00 P.M.

Board meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Supervisor.
Roll call: Major, Troup, Wad, Scott and Van Divner present.
Agenda approved as presented.
Minutes of August 2nd meeting approved as presented.
Treasurer’s report received.

Major reported that quote for sealing blacktop was $2,025. Blacktop appears to be in excellent condition, so board will revisit possible sealing in 2 years.

Van Divner moved, Troup seconded, PASSED, to support proposed text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, Section 2405, Paragraph 4, sub-paragraph f. (5-0) Friendship Township Planning Commission had passed a motion stating they had no objection to the proposed amendment.

McAvoy Logging Easement- there appears to be a question as to ownership of land used for logging road.
Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to direct Scott to apprise township attorney of developments regarding logging easement controversy. (5-0)

Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to approve supervisor signing the library contract for $727.50. (5-0)

Ward moved, Scott seconded, PASSED, to approve transfer of $475 from Contingency to Audit line item. (5-0)

Troup reviewed bills and checks for accuracy.

PUBLIC COMMENT.

Van Divner moved, Ward seconded, PASSED by unanimous roll call vote, to approve payment of bills. Checks # 1018 – 1041 were written in the amount of $10,247.23.
