WEST TRAVERSE TOWNSHIP

PUBLIC HEARING & REGULAR BOARD MEETINGMARCH 27, 2007 

Public Hearing & Regular Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

5 members were present.

Public Hearing was held to discuss the 2007-2008 Township Budget.

February 13, 2007 Regular minutes were approved.

Road improvement contracts with the ECRC were approved.

Funds were allocated to the Recreation Committee for professional inspection of the barn.

The millages for 2007-2008 will remain the same as last year.

The Budget for 2007-2008 was approved as were amendments to the 2006-2007 budget.

Richard Mahlmeister was chosen as the auditor for 2007.

The Township Chart of Accounts will be reviewed with the auditor.

The Manager and Assistant Manager contracts were approved for Thorne Swift.

The 2007-2008 meeting dates for the Township Board were approved.

It was approved to allow the elected officials and deputy officials to attend the MTA spring district meeting in Gaylord.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:17 p.m.

Next regularly scheduled meeting will be April 10, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
