WEST TRAVERSE TOWNSHIP

REGULAR BOARD MEETING, DECEMBER 19, 2006  

Regular Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

4 members were present.

November 14, 2006 regular minutes were approved with two corrections.

November 14, 2006 closed session minutes were approved as presented.

Payables were approved as presented.

A Perry Farm PUD amendment was approved allowing 5 single family homes to be built as duplexes.

Supervisor Sandford was authorized to approve the lease agreement for a new fire station.

Approval was given to repair the township tractor in the amount of $879.28.

The Policies & Procedures will be addressed when the full Board is in attendance and it was agreed to retain the policy that deputies to elected officials will preferably be Township residents.

The Planner/Zoning Administrator contract for 2007 was approved.

The 2007 committee appointments were approved.

The Board voted to go into closed session to discuss the purchase of property for a Township well site.

Supervisor Sandford was authorized to continue negotiations as per the Water Board recommendations.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:47 p.m.

Next regularly scheduled meeting will be January 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
