SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES, MARCH 25, 2006


Special Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Dohm at 1:20 p.m.

Roll Call: Board member present, Allerding, Arman, Dohm, O’Neill, Garver absent. Also present Jane Taylor.

Purpose of the Special Meeting is to adopt the 2006/07 Appropriation Budget and to conduct any other business brought before the board.

Correspondence: Minutes of Emmet Co. DPW of Feb. 9, 2006: Minutes of Emmet Co. Road Commission of Feb. 24, 2006: MTA Notice of Spring District Meetings.

Public Comment: None.

Appropriations Act including the 2006/07 Budget: The Little Traverse Township General and Enterprise Funds Appropriations Act, including the 2006/07 was received by the Township Board. No further discussion of the budget and the Appropriations Act, motion by O’Neill supported by Allerding and carried in a roll call vote as follows: Dohm aye, O’Neill aye, Allerding aye, Arman aye, Garver absent, the General and Enterprise Funds Appropriations Act including the 2006/07 Appropriation budget was adopted as presented.

Water System Rate Adjustment: Board members discussed the water rates for 2006/07. Upon discussion the water rates will be increased to $34.00 quarterly for User O & M per residential unit, and $22.00 for User R & R per residential unit effective April 1, 2006. Motion by Arman supported by O’Neill and carried in a roll call vote as follows: Dohm aye, O’Neill aye, Allerding aye, Arman aye, Garver absent Water Rate Resolution # 3-25-06-02 was passed.

Other Business: No other business was brought before the board.

With no further business being brought before the board, Supervisor Dohm adjourned the Special Meeting at 1:35 p.m.
