Special Meeting convened at 1:15 P.M. March 28, 2009 following the Township Annual Meeting.

Roll Call: All board members present, Alerting, Armani, Dom, Graver, O’Neill. Also present Jane Taylor.

Purpose of the Special Meeting is to adopt the 2009/10 Appropriation Budget and to conduct any other business brought before the board.

Distribution of Correspondence: Minutes of Emmet County DPW of Feb. 18, 2009: Emmet County Recycle letter and documents: Minutes of Emmet Co. Road Commission of March 6, 2009.

Public Comment: None.

Township General & Enterprise Funds Appropriations Act and Budget: The Township of Little Traverse General and Enterprise Funds Appropriations Act, including the 2009/10 Budget was presented to the board (attached herin). With no further discussion of the afore mentioned, motion by Allerding supported by Garver and carried in a roll call vote as follows: Dohm aye, O’Neill aye, Garver aye, Allerding aye, Arman aye, the Appropriations Act including the budget was passed.

Copy Machine Replacement: Board Members discussed the replacement of the Office Copy Machine. Received a price quote (attached herein) from Van’s Business Machines on a newer used copier (2 years old). Upon discussion motion by O’Neill supported by Allerding and carried board authorized the purchase of a Ricoh Color/Printer/Scanner.

Other Business: Board discussed the Water Utilities and Harbor Springs Sewage Authority. No action taken on the matter.

Assessor replacement discussion was made. Advertising was placed for qualified person. No other action taken at this time.

Board discussed work to be done in the Township for the upcoming year.

No other business was brought before the board.

Being of no further business brought before the board, Supervisor adjourned the Special Meeting at 1:45 P.M.
