BOARD MEETING

Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor.
Roll call by clerk: Major, Troup, Scott and Van Divner present. Ward absent. Quorum of 4.
Agenda approved with addition under New Business of RFC letter and moving 13j to between 4 and 5.
Minutes of May 10 meeting stood approved as presented.
There was no Treasurer’s report.

Van Divner moved, Troup seconded, PASSED, to put plans to meet with Readmond Township regarding Middle Village Park committee on hold for one month. (3-1)

Van Divner moved, Scott seconded, FAILED, to move 11b(2) to after new business. (2-2)

Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED, that Friendship Township offer the County program of “Anytime Cleanup Vouchers”, send one voucher to each household in the township, and that the date of expiration of the voucher be December 31, 2006. (4-0) The cost to the township for each voucher turned in will be $17.50.

Van Divner moved, Scott seconded, PASSED, that the Board authorize Scott to sign as to stumpage value of $2,039 for trees removed in easement being used for MacAvoy logging operation, and require that Beacon Hill Lane be returned to original condition within 30 days after termination of harvest operations. The $5,000 bond will not be returned until the Township is satisfied with the condition of Beacon Hill Lane. (4-0)

Scott moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to authorize clerk to pay up to 33% of road construction bill if presented before next board meeting. (4-0)

Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED, to increase line item Michigan Township Association by $200 and decrease Contingency by $200. (4-0)

PUBLIC COMMENT.

Van Divner moved, Major seconded, PASSED unanimously by roll call vote, to pay bills. Checks # 5304 thru 5320 were written in the amount of $7,051.50.
