I. Call to order at 7:10 II. Roll call and recognition of visitors, declaration of taping devices: Quorum not present, no decisions were made. also present: Allyn Shepherd, David Sheherd, Norm Mottl, Rose Tourney, Dale Scott III. New Business: A. Case #32-04 Paul Tourney (cell phone 269-275-7932) for a Special Use Permit for a height modification to apply to a residence proposed for 3236 Five Mile Creek. The property is zoned FF-2 and is a new five-acre parcel split from tax parcel number 24-06-12-20-100-006. The request is per Section 1900, note g, for an increased average height of 1.5 feet, the average proposed height is 31.5; and ranges from 26.75’ to 35.’ Case was discussed informally. Shepherds and Scott as well as Donahey (affected neighbors) all were against the idea of setting precedent for higher roof lines in the area. Suggested to owner to lower roof line and work with the county planning office. V. Other Matters A. Township Zoning: a forum will be held on the pros and cons of our own zoning on Thursday, July 22, 2004, 7:00 p.m. at the Twp. Hall. Panelists: Chris Bzdok, Chris Grobel, Rod Courtwight. Bo will invite CV and Readmond also. VI. Open Discussion for issues not on the Agenda Wilbur expressed concern about changing tax classification of parcels and the effect that has on their zoning classification. Need more information from Wilbur and Janell. VII. Next meeting: July 26
