Recreation Committee
Danna reported on the progress of the Recreation Committee. The process is continuing with doing an inventory of recreational opportunities. One of the items on the ‘wish list’ is tennis courts and now a new tennis facility is opening so that will come off of the list. Some needs are being met by the private sector, such as the tennis facility. The Kiwanis Park project is continuing.
Discussion took place about a joint recreation plan idea for the area that is DNR approved. A suggestion was made to include a water trail. Work continues by the trails committee to inventory non motorized trails. The group is almost ready with input for open spaces.
