EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
FRIDAY AUGUST 26, 2005; 12:00 P.M.

Welcome/Attendance

The meeting was called to order by Tom Gallagher at 12:09PM. Executive Director Danna Widmar and assistant Preston McGregor were present.

Minutes:

Breighner made a motion to approve the minutes for May 17, 2005. Erber seconded the motion. Motion Carried.

Financials

Erber reviewed financials through July 2005. In August, Erber also noted that $30,000 was moved from the CD into the checking account and $31,255.37 was renewed in a 6 month CD at 3%. Breighner made a motion to approve. Simon seconded the motion. Motion Carried

Board Vacant Positions

Widmar reported that Sandy Baker, Ross Blumke, Dan Branson, Kathy Erber, Doug Fuller, and Mary Ellen Hughes would all like to be re-nominated to the Board of Directors. Widmar reported that a Community Member position could be opened to another person since Esposito (whose community member term expires in August 2005) has a voting position on the Board as Past Chairman through August 2006. Widmar also reported that she had conversations with Doug Tayler of Lower Shore Drive and Neal McCue of Kiwanis and Top of Michigan Trails Council and was recommending them to be nominated to the Board. Erber indicated that Betrina Snively had been previously recommended by Dale Scott. Simon agreed to contact Betrina. Widmar reported that she would prepare a form for the Board meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:00PM.
