The meeting was called to order by Denise Simon at 12:00 pm. Executive Director Danna Widmar and Assistant Preston McGregor were also present. Minutes Minutes from November 1, 2006 were presented. Al Dika made motion to approve and Dan Branson seconded. Motion Carried. Notes from November 29, 2006 were presented and reviewed. Financials Widmar reported that 2006 year end financials have been reviewed by accountant Donna Weber and will be delivered to Sara Smith CPA today. Old Business Internet Access - Gene Reck has agreed to chair this committee and has been asked to help assemble an internet access committee. Widmar has purchased the Peachtree 2006 for non-profits program to replace outdated and unsupported Peachtree 2004. Widmar presented information on D&O insurance. Al Dika made a motion, seconded by Kathie Breighner to authorize Widmar to sign contract for this insurance. Motion Carried New Business All new business was postponed to discuss the Recreation, Trails and Open Space Plan. Widmar answered questions on the Plan and provided explanation of the Recreation Authorities Act. Discussion occurred regarding the approval process, board makeup, etc. Widmar provided information from Partnerships for Change and from the Recreation Committee regarding use of that Act by local jurisdictions. Meeting Schedule/Adjournment:The Executive Committee - next regular meeting will be January 31, 2007 at Harbor Springs City Hall.
