EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Also present: Danna Widmar, Executive Director and Preston McGregor, Director’s Assistant.Meeting was called to order at 12:03PM by Kathie Breighner. Charlie MacInnis chaired the meeting.
2) Approval of old minutes:
a. Executive Committee – September 10, 2008. Michael Esposito moved and Dan Branson seconded the motion to accept as written. Motion Carried.
3) Financials / Fundraising
a. August and September Financials – Reviewed and filed by Michael Esposito.
b. Year End Fundraising
i. Letter Campaign, Donors – Danna will write letter with an
anticipated mailing date of November 15.
ii. Grants – Danna reviewed grant applications which include
Petoskey-HS Area Community Foundation and revenue sharing.
iii. Status of M-119 Trail Funds.
4) Current Business/Reports
a. Membership Application for Non-profit Organizations/Public Access TV – Danna reviewed this possibility for public TV (cable). Executive Committee tabled until later date.
b. Leave No Child Inside Task Force Member – Danna would like to have a board member represent HARBOR Inc. on the task force. Several names were suggested.
c. M-119 Trail Update – Lengthy discussion was held re: water problem at Wequetonsing Golf Course. Possible solutions and alternatives were also reviewed.
d. 2009 Budget Discussion – Danna and Michael Esposito will meet for preliminary budget.
5) Adjourn – Meeting was adjourned at 1:10PM.

a. Executive Committee: Wednesday, November 19th at 12:00 noon at HS City Hall
b. Board of Director’s Meeting: Wednesday, December 10th at 8:00 am at Little Traverse Township Hall
