EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
WEDNESDAY, May 14, 2008; 12:00 P.M.

Welcome/Attendance

Present: Branson ,Breighner ,Dika , Esposito,  Fenton,  Hughes 
Absent : Gallagher,  Mossburg,  Simon

The meeting was called to order by Kathie Breighner at 12:00 pm.  Executive Director Danna Widmar and staff member Preston McGregor were also present.

Minutes

The Executive Committee minutes of April 23, 2008 were presented. Al Dika moved to accept. Dan Branson seconded the motion. Motion Carried.

Financials/Fundraising

a. 2007 Annual 990 Filing and Review: Widmar will be finalizing with Sara Smith today. 
b. 2008 Fundraising status:
1. Grants: Received a grant from PHSACF for $7,420.00 to expand the online mapping and build out data on website. Americana Foundation has also been applied for. Will also do Mott Foundation.
2. Fundraising letter campaign –handwritten envelopes are completed. Widmar asked that all volunteer to help with mailing on 6/18/08 at 9:30AM at City Hall.
c. April 2008 financials were presented and reviewed. $10,000 will be transferred from CD to checking.

Current Business/Reports

a. Hoyt –Quick Study –EC will walk the area with Emily Meyerson, Consultant, and other guests on 6/4/08 at 1PM.   
b. M-119 Status  -  Widmar reported on the current status of the design and the remaining issues related to drainage and the delineators that are proposed along the roadway.  The design project is still scheduled for completion in the next couple of months.  Construction will be in 2009.
c.   E-news - Widmar and staff, Preston McGregor requested future input from EC on e-news content. Breighner will consider submitting something regarding the downtown group.
