The meeting was called to order by Denise Simon at 12:05 pm. Executive Director Danna Widmar and Preston McGregor were also present.
Minutes
Minutes from May 30, 2007 were presented. Dan Branson made motion to approve minutes and Kathie Breighner seconded. Motion Carried.
Financials/Fundraising
No financials were presented.
Widmar described fundraising letter/brochure to all members which is to be sent to the printer by August 2, 2007. Typical timeframe from printer to mailbox is two weeks.
Current Business
Frey Challenge – Frey Foundation offered a challenge grant of up to $10,000.00 to HARBOR Inc. if matching funds are raised. Event planned for fundraising is the ‘Frey Challenge Ride’ on Sunday July 22, 2007. Simon reviewed volunteer riders and the pledges they have gotten for their individual rides as well as plans for the event itself.
Annual Meeting – Scheduled for Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 11:30 am. Widmar will secure location this week and invitation will be sent to all donors.
Meeting Schedule/Adjournment:
The Executive Committee next regular meeting will be Wednesday, August 1 @ 12:00 noon, Harbor Springs City Hall.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:55PM.
