The meeting was called to order by Michael Esposito at 12:20 pm. Executive Director Danna Widmar and Assistant Preston McGregor were also present.
Minutes
Minutes from April 25, 2007 were presented. Dan Branson made motion to approve minutes and Joan Fenton seconded. Motion Carried.
Financials
April 2007 minutes were presented and reviewed. Dan Branson moved to accept financials. Kathie Breighner seconded. Motion Carried
Old Business
The Spring 2007 newsletter was mailed the first week in May to over 5000 names.
New Business
Strategic Plan
A committee system was discussed to help implement the strategic plan. With some guidance, committees could begin by establishing time frames, responsibilities and how to accomplish goals. Examples of how this might be done were discussed. It was agreed that the Executive Committee should this concept at the June 6th Meeting and then work through the process of developing Standard Committee Terms of Reference as a means of implementing the strategic plan. The goal would be to be able to provide something back to the Board in September.

Open Space Committee meeting -Wednesday May 30, 2007 @ 9:00 AM, Little Traverse Township Hall.
The Executive Committee - next regular meeting will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 12:00 noon, Harbor Springs City Hall.
Board of Directors Meeting – Wednesday June 6, 2007 @ 8:00 AM, Little Traverse Township Hall.
