HARBOR AREA REGIONAL BOARD OF RESOURCES, INC.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING

WEDNESDAY, April 25, 2007; 12:00 P.M.

City of Harbor Springs City Council Chambers

The meeting was called to order by Kathie Breighner at 12:10 pm.  Executive Director Danna Widmar and Assistant Preston McGregor were also present.

Minutes

Minutes from March 14 and 28, 2007 were presented.  Al Dika made motion to approve both minutes and Rob Mossburg seconded. Motion Carried.

March 2007 minutes were presented. Depreciation is to be booked monthly per CPA. 1^st quarter 2007 will be entered as of March 31, 2007. Rob Mossburg moved to accept financials with this change. Al Dika seconded. Motion Carried

Old Business/Updates 

Officials Gathering

An officials gathering will be held in May 2007 and co-hosted by the Emmet County Planning Department. Event will be held at a county facility. Date TBD.

Widmar spoke at recent meeting of the Open Space Task Force and the Transportation Committee, to share information. She reported there was a good response.

New Business 

Office Lease

An office lease through December 2007 has been received. After several edits, move to approve and sign was made by Esposito and seconded by Branson. Motion carried.

The spring 2007 newsletter is nearing completion and should be out the first week of May. Included will be a tear-off for people to indicate interest in having high speed internet. This will help indicate where the gaps are of interest and need.

Widmar will go for interview on May 9 with the PHSACF Youth Advisory Committee to propose grant.

The Executive Committee - next regular meeting will be Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 12:00 noon, Harbor Springs City Hall.
