Cardboard Boat Challenge

A new activity which the Community Pool began this past school year was the Cardboard Boat Challenge. The Middle School students from Harbor Springs designed a series of boats which were made stricktly out of cardboard and duct tape. Each team was then required to race their boat over a 50 yard course to test their design for strength and durability. This was a huge success this year and we hope to expand this project to other area schools.
